Speaker: Denzil Ribeiro, Principal Program Manager Microsoft

Summary: SQL 2016 offers a ton of key breakthrough innovations spread out across mission critical capabilities, data insights and the hyper scale cloud. In this session we will look at all the core database engine innovations around Performance, Security, Availability and Scalability. This will be a fast paced walk through investments in each of these areas with a couple demos. About Denzil: Denzil Ribeiro is a Principal Program Manager with the SQL CAT team and is based out of Irving, Texas and has been associated with SQL Server in some shape or form since SQL 7.0. He is a Microsoft Certified Master ( MCM) and focusses on SQL Performance, the Database Engine in general and Reporting Services. He worked at Microsoft for 14 years and prior to his current role worked in the SQL Support team as an Escalation Engineer and then in the Premier Field Engineering team.
